Police officers shot a colleague, Glezil Jean Rozner, while their General Director Rameau Normil was present during an attempted arrest, according to TripFoumi Enfo.
The shooting took place on Wednesday night at Hotel Révélation in Delmas, Port-au-Prince. The police officers had gone to the location to arrest a G9 Family and Allies gang member known as Ti Junior. When they arrived there, they found Rozner instead. Even though Rozner flashed his badge, they fired gunshots toward him.
Normil said in a PNH meeting earlier the evening that he was committed to tackling the insecurity issue and kidnapping. Source
