Even though president Josep Maria Bartomeu is set to be outed, with club members recently giving him a vote of no confidence, he wants to sort Ter Stegen’s contract before he leaves.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, European football and La Liga has been hit hard financially, meaning that Barca have implemented a salary limit for the time being.
