Jonas Coffy, Haiti’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, said he will penalize all gas stations that closed due to protests over better petrol distribution currently underway.

Coffy also said he will revoke the protesting gas stations’ operating licenses if he has to. He gave them until Tuesday to open. He didn’t say what the penalty would be.

Many of the gas stations that are protesting are part of the National Association of Service Station Owners (ANAPROSS). Source
