
Two people were arrested for pocketing about $187,798 through fraudulent activities that targeted more than 20 people in Haiti.
The Oct. 6 arrest of the pair of Romanians took place at Dextra Market in Port-au-Prince. They are suspected of using counterfeit bank cards to withdraw funds from the victims’ bank accounts.
Police confiscated 125 counterfeit bank cards, a Mitsubishi car and electronics. Source
