The transfer deadline day in the Premier League was actually a fairly quiet affair.

The two headline deals were Edinson Cavani joining Manchester United on a free transfer and Thomas Partey swapping Atletico Madrid for Arsenal, while the Red Devils also brought in Alex Telles from Porto.

But, there was plenty of business to keep an eye on further down the table…

No less than 14 years since swapping Southampton for Arsenal, Theo Walcott returned to the Saints on deadline day on loan from Everton.

Who: Raphinha

From: Rennes

To: Leeds

Fee: £17m

Marcelo Bielsa had been keen to add another quick winger to his ranks this summer, with him reportedly initially interested in Ryan Kent of Rangers.
