Karl-Henry Châtelier, Haiti’s former Consul to the Bahamas, said on Wednesday he was urinating in the video that caused his firing.

In a letter to Claude Joseph, the minister of foreign affairs, Châtelier asked for a hearing “to better understand the reasons” for being fired. He also said he was the victim of a plot and was surprised to be fired.

“I was the victim of a plot based on a video circulating on the social networks, taken without my knowledge when I was in my room showing me urinating.”

In the viral video that surfaced online Sept. 28, Châtelier appears to be pleasuring himself. Source
