With the No.1 on his back and completely at home in between the sticks for Real Madrid, Thibaut Courtois got his third season at the club off to a good start with a clean sheet against Real Sociedad.
After becoming one of the team’s leading lights in 2019/20, the Belgian once again showed how decisive he is in Los Blancos’ first game back as they look to defend their LaLiga Santander crown.
At the Reale Arena, Courtois proved that the wall he built in goal is still intact, and while he didn’t face much of a threat he was there when the team needed him.
