
More than 10 University of Haiti Hospital (HUEH) workers began a strike Monday to call for better sterilization materials, an ambulance and a raise.
Two surgeons told Le Nouvelliste  that the hospital had to put all surgeries on hold because of the employees’ absence. The operating room was not sanitized, so several patients had to wait for surgeries, they said. Continue reading
