A group of protesting politicians flung rocks at police officers, who then responded by launching tear gas, near Champ-de-Mars park on Monday. No deaths or injuries were reported.
The politicians took to the streets after Fantom 509 members burned tires and set a government building on fire in a move to get former police officer Jean-Pascal Alexandre released from prison.
