Nelson Semedo’s future at Barcelona is once again up in the air.
The Portuguese’s time at the Camp Nou has been like a rollercoaster, with ups followed swiftly by downs, and this summer has been no different.
The 26-year-old was initially used as a bargaining tool to try and entice the likes of Miralem Pjanic and Lautaro Martinez to the club, with the former having now joined after Arthur went the other way and with negotiations for the latter still believed to be ongoing.
However, the fact that no club could be found for the right-back led to Barcelona performing a u-turn and opening negotiations over a new deal. Continue reading
