
Oil industry leaders told the Haitian government that the country could go through another gas shortage if it does not pay its debts, according to Juno7.
The Professional Association of Oil, known by its French acronym APPE, gave them the warning. The law firm that represents APPE, Lissade, said the government won’t be able to pay the debt until October.
“So, for the three weeks left before the end of September, importers will not be able to place orders,” the law firm said. Continue reading
