
Port-au-Prince Commissioner Gabriel Ducarmel plans to question four members of Monferrier Dorval’s office in the ongoing investigation into his murder.
Attorneys Beutia Wilgui, Méliore Joseph, Jhonny Sainvil, and Dorval’s secretary Ketty Lindor are to be questioned Wednesday morning, the commissioner said in a letter to the interim head of the Port-au-Prince bar. Since Haiti’s Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe had announced the arrest of three suspects, the commissioner’s letter has confused some observers.
Dorval, the head of bar at the time of his killing, was murdered in his home hours after he said the Haitian constitution needs changes. Continue reading
