
Kadhafi Saphir, an instructor with the Haitian Police Intervention Group, was murdered at National Route Number 2, which is located between Léogâne and Grand-Goâve Wednesday.
Saphir’s attackers initially popped his vehicle’s tires. When the 46-year-old pulled over on the side of the road, they gunned him down.
In addition to training SWAT team members, Saphir was also a renowned karate coach. One of his students, Jean Joseph Reynold, won the top award for Kyokushinka stand-up fighting at the 2016 Mas Oyama Memorial Cup in Japan. Continue reading
