Real Madrid an Borussia Dortmund have reportedly agreed a deal with over a two-year loan deal for highly-rated Brazilian midfielder Reinier.

The 18-year-old moved to the Bernabeu from Flamengo in January in a deal worth £25million and is widely expected to be a key part of the Real midfield for years to come.

But he is deemed not ready for the first team yet and Real see a loan move to Dortmund as the perfect opportunity for him to get valuable first-team minutes.

, a deal has already been agreed by both Dortmund and the player and it will be a similar deal to Achraf Hakimi’s successful loan move in recent seasons. 

Reinier only made his senior Flamengo debut last year but scored six goals in just eight starts to convince Real he was good enough to move to the Bernabeu.

He signed a long-term contract in the Spanish capital and is currently tied down until the summer of 2027. 

But the Spanish giants are keen for Reinier to play first-team football with LaLiga’s registration rules preventing him from joining Zinedine Zidane’s squad at present.

He cannot move between the second team and senior side because of a limit of three non-EU players in first-team squads.

They are currently occupied by Vinicius, Rodrygo and Eder Militao. Continue reading
