Gareth Bale will not travel to Manchester in the latest sign that the relationship with Zinedine Zidane is totally broken and without any possible solution.
Real Madrid have won LaLiga Santander in the past few weeks, but Bale played barely any role as the relationship went from bad to worse.
As MARCA revealed previously, the relationship is completely broken as they do not speak or even look at each other, they just ignore each other.
It’s true that Bale has not lacked respect towards the coach at any time, but many of his gestures in the last few weeks have not been well received by Zidane who “disconnected” from Bale after the Champions League final in 2018 in Kiev.
After a complicated season that year where he lost his starting place, Bale effectively pushed away the hand of Zidane as he gave him an opportunity.
The Frenchman’s return wasn’t the best news for Bale and last summer he was close to leaving, as the coach himself admitted, but they remain working together and the relationship continues to get worse.
It is now so bad that Zidane does not even want him on the plan to Manchester, a decision which has not surprised the club and has their backing. Continue reading
