Cristiano Ronaldo almost made the switch to PSG because he was “unhappy” at Juventus only to see the coronavirus pandemic curtail the move.
The Portuguese star has just completed his second year in Italy having moved from Real Madrid.
Ronaldo has been criticised in some circles for failing to deliver the Champions League to Turin having dominated the competition with Los Blancos.
But his desire to play alongside Kylian Mbappe and Neymar almost saw him make the move to the Parc des Princes, reports France Football.
Ronaldo’s frustrations seemed to boil over back in November of last year when Juventus secured a late win at Lokomotiv Moscow.
It was a below par performance in which the five-time Ballon D’or winner failed to find the back of the net or provide for a team-mate.
The 35-year-old was close to scoring before Aaron Ramsey stabbed home with the ball on the line prompting an interesting reaction from Ronaldo.
But having enjoyed the glitz and glam of the Premier League and then Madrid he has struggled in Turin.
