Covid-19-Haiti: 47 new cases and 5 dead, the toll stands at 7,100 positive cases

The Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) said that the country officially has 7,100 cases of people who tested positive for covid-19 and added that 47 new cases of contamination have been recorded. 

“The number of people who died from the disease is 151”, the ministry said in a press release.

Among the most affected municipalities are Delmas (1,261) Port-au-Prince (1,066), Petion-Ville (768), Tabarre (629), Carrefour (386), Croix-des-Bouquets (479), St marc (134), Mirebalais (134), Cap-Haitien(186), Jacmel (152), Port-de-Paix (97) …

The majority of Covid-19 cases are in the Western Department, 5,139 cases and 60 deaths. Artibonite, 338 cases and 28 deaths. Center, 331 cases and 3 deaths. North, 298 cases and 20 deaths.
