Less than six months after its installation, the Jouthegovernment has begun to count resignations and dismissals. The latest official to leave is Max Attys, the head of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, who submitted his letter of to President  Jovenel Moïse, on Thursday.

The correspondence dated Thursday July 16, 2020 comes exactly four days after the resigning minister, at a press conference on July 12, dared to question certain inconsistencies that tarnish the program of construction of sports infrastructures launched with the funds from PetroCaribe.

“I have the honor to send you under this cover, a copy of the correspondence that I sent to the Head of Government to present my resignation to him as Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action”, Attys said then. Continue reading.
