Real Madrid growing tired of refereeing talk
Real Madrid are growing increasingly frustrated by how refereeing talk is distracting from the team’s performances in LaLiga Santander.
Los Blancos were involved in controversy again on Sunday, with their 1-0 win over Athletic Club coming courtesy of a Sergio Ramos penalty.
Until now, the players, coaches and directors at Real Madrid have tried to stay calm and play the situation down.
Although the likes of Imanol Alguacil and Gaizka Garitano have praised the hard work of Zinedine Zidane’s side, most of the post-match comments have been negative and surrounded the VAR.
Players from other clubs in particular have voiced their frustration with referees and the VAR after Real Madrid wins, all in an attempt to find an excuse for Los Blancos’ success.
Real Madrid see these comments as an attempt to smear the team, who have performed exceptionally well in difficult circumstances. Continue reading
