Dortmund chief Michael Zorc had admitted before the game that he was ‘concerned’ about Sancho’s future, with leading the chase for the 20-year-old England winger, who is valued at over £100million. 

But after star man Sancho surprisingly sat out the majority of the 2-0 win over RB Leipzig, Zorc attempted to quell fears that it meant he was on his way out of the club.

‘We have had many injuries in the past few weeks and have not been able to rotate like other teams,’ Zorc told Sport1 .

‘Jadon is completely tired and told the coach before the game that he had no energy to play 90 minutes. ‘You saw that in the game.’
