forward Pedro’s move to Serie A club Roma this summer on a free transfer is now in doubt, according to reports.

The 33-year-old ex- winger is out of contract this summer, and with the expected arrival of attacking duo Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, he looks unlikely to extend his stay in west . 

The international was heavily linked with a move to Roma but according to Spanish outlet , a huge fallout at boardroom level at the Stadio Olimpico means Pedro has also been offered to Valencia and a return to his homeland. 

The report details that there has been a fallout at Roma between sporting director Gianluca Petrachi and majority shareholder James Pallotta, with the former pushing for a deal and the latter resistant to any signings at the present time, as reported by Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport.

As a result, Pedro has reportedly been offered a move to Valencia, who drew their first LaLiga game back last week, 1-1 against Levante on Friday night. 

The budget available to Valencia manager Albert Celades will be determined by the club’s final league position at the end of this season.     Continue reading
