Bayern Munich should not entertain offers for star defenders in summer.
The summer transfer window is yet to be rescheduled since all top leagues have or going to resume football. However, the delay in the start of the window doesn’t stop the rumour mill. Bayern Munich is expected to improve their squad this summer, but few of the players of the current squad is also expected to attract interest from top clubs.
According to RMC, Paris-Saint Germain is interested in signing Lucas Hernandez from Bayern to replace Thiago Silva. This report says that the French defender has not adapted well in Germany and be receptive to a move to Paris. SportBild also confirmed that the French club is indeed interested in Hernandez.
Hernandez moved from Atletico Madrid to Bavaria last summer since the club was looking to improve their central defensive options. It is just a matter of time to get some rhythm with consistent playing time to get back to his best. Moreover, the German club will struggle to recoup the fee they had paid for the services of the French defender. Continue reading
