Former Liverpool player Steve McManaman “exclusively told Daily Star Sport” that he can envision Jürgen Klopp leaving Liverpool for Bayern Munich. “I think he really adores Liverpool and the Premier League,” McManaman said, “But you could see him going back to Germany and managing Bayern Munich.”

McManaman elaborated on why Bayern might prove enticing to the affable coach:

“The way that club is run — and the way German managers are treated there — you wouldn’t rule it out,” he said. “A few years ago it looked like Bayern were on their last legs. [editorial note: say what?!] But now, along with the more experienced players, they’ve got a plethora of youngsters who are hungry.”

In December 2019, Klopp agreed to extend his contract with Liverpool until 2024, so let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Leroy Sané maybe could play in the DFB-Pokal Final (TZ)

You may have noticed when we wrote about FIFA’s intention to open the transfer window prior to the end of the current season. In FIFA’s statement, they note they have approved “new temporary regulatory amendments” that could make it possible for Leroy Sané to feature for Bayern Munich in the DFB-Pokal Final against Leverkusen on July 4.    Continue reading
