Chelsea have reportedly entered the race for Paris-Saint Germain left-back Layvin Kurzawa, who could be a cheaper alternative to top target Ben Chilwell.
Frank Lampard is a big fan of the Leicester City left-back, but with the Foxes demanding up to £85 million for his services, the Blues may have to look elsewhere.
And according to France Football, the west London club made contact with Kurzawa’s agents ‘a few days ago’ to register their interest in signing the experienced full-back.
The 27-year-old is set to become a free agent with his contract due to expire on June 30 and the report states multiple top European clubs are vying for his signature.
Arsenal are still interested in Kurzawa after pursuing him in January, while Atletico Madrid are also keen on the French defender.
His representatives are said to be focusing on getting the left-back a move to La Liga or the Premier League over the Serie A, with Inter Milan and Juventus also coming close to signing him in the last transfer window. Continue reading
