Former Jacmel MP Patrick Domond passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020 around 5 a.m. at his home in Port-au-Prince. 

He had been under self-quarantine since Tuesday, May 19. The news was confirmed to Juno7 newsroom by a family member.

The former MP and former government commissioner had been showing symptoms of Coronavirus for several days according to his family. He had respiratory problems, fever and flu.

Since the signs persisted, his doctor advised him to get tested on Tuesday, which he did,” according to the family member. He died on Thursday without receiving the test results from the health ministry. Continue reading.
