Trent Alexander-Arnold versus Aaron Wan-Bissaka could be one of those footballing debates that lasts for years and years.

TAA properly broke through at Liverpool in 2017 and has enjoyed a rapid rise to stardom since then thanks to the quality of his passing, crosses and superb assists record.

Meanwhile, Wan-Bissaka made a name for himself as an outstanding one-v-one tackler at Crystal Palace, before sealing a move to Manchester United for an initial £45 million last summer.

Aged 22 and 21 respectively, Aaron and Trent are both already battling with the likes of Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier to be England’s first-choice right-back.

The general consensus amongst football enthusiasts is that Wan-Bissaka possesses better defensive capabilities and Alexander-Arnold is superior going forward.
