The decision taken by the Haitian government to allocate 3000 gourdes to 1 million 500 thousand families, is not a sound idea, the economist EnomyGermain, told Juno7, adding that he has no problem with the intention, but the government can do it differently and achieve better results.
To justify his position, Germain takes petroleum products as an example. Lower fuel prices at the pump would benefit many more people and the state itself, according to the economist.
