In a note sent to Juno7, the Papaya Political Forum criticizes the systematic the Haitian government’s response to the Coronavirus.

The letter said that president Jovenel Moise is not taking serious measures to protect the Haitian population against the Coronavirus pandemic. For instance the organization said the government was slow to suspend flights from abroad. It also said that the lamentable situation of public hospitals, the lack of synergy between the heads of health institutions and the authorities, the opacity that surrounds location of Covid-19 case management centers, have created a perfect storm for deaths.
