The first hospital in the metropolitan region of Port-au-Prince to have received Covid-19 patients, St-Luc Hospital, continues to guarantee the availability of urgent care not related to the pandemic.

Today, St-Luc, located in Tabarre, has launched a call for help. The hospital needs help to keep the quality of care provided and it starts with protective equipment for staff: gloves, masks, protective gowns, hydroalkolic gels.

With this 40-bed unit, St-Luc Hospital is one of the first health institutions to go to the front against the Covid-19. A team of 40 healthcare professionals, risking their lives, do everything in their power to treat and psychologically support people infected with Sars-CoV-2 (scientific name of Covid-19) received at the hospital , Le Nouvelliste reports.
