Spanish giants Real Madrid are on the look-out for a new striker with Inter’s Lautaro Martinez understood to be on their shortlist according to a report in today’s print edition of Spanish newspaper Marca.
Los Blancos primary target is Borussia Dortmund’s teen sensation Erling Braut Haaland, who has exploded onto the scene this term having netted 40 goals in 33 appearances across all competitions to date for Red Bull Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund.
Paris Saint Germain’s Kylian Mbappe had been the Santiago Bernabeu’s original number one target but upon realising it would be particularly difficult to acquire him they shifted their attention to Haaland.
If unable to acquire Haaland, Real Madrid could well go in for Inter’s Lautaro Martinez, who is also strongly wanted by their arch rivals Barcelona. Continue reading
