Alexis Sanchez could stay at Inter but in order to do so he would have to take a really significant pay cut according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.
The Chilean national team attacker joined the club on a season long loan from Manchester United this past Summer with the Premier League side paying a large chunk of his wages.
Manchester United are paying €6 million of the 31-year-old’s annual €11 million pay packet whilst he is at Inter, who are covering the remaining €5 million.
As per the report, Sanchez would need to agree to a salary of less than €5 million to have any chance of sticking around at the Nerazzurri club past the end of this season. Continue reading
