Tragedy at the Orphelinat de l’Eglise de la compréhension de la Bible

According to Le Nouvlliste, Thursday, Feb. 14, the Orphelinat de l’Eglise de la compréhension de la Bible located in Fermathe caught on fire, and as a result 15 children lost their lives.  Robenty Jean François, head of civil protection in Kenscoff said that 13 of the children passed at a hospital due to complications from smoke inhalation, while the two other children both disabled died in the fire. The fire was determined to have been caused by a candle that was left burning. Continue reading

U.S. returns cultural and historical artifacts to Haiti

The runway of Jérémie’s airport being renovated
