On Tuesday, Feb.4, the Ministry of Public Health and Population with the support of the National Airport Authority organized a training session for airport executives, ground service providers and airline managers at the Toussaint Louverture International Airport. According to Le Nouvelliste, the session focused on making them aware of the risks of the spread of the coronavirus and their role in prevention of this disease. “It was important for us to meet with airline officials because they are the first links in the chain. If you have a good filtration and sorting system, you have a good chance of controlling the spread of the virus,” stated Dr. Lauré Adrien, General Director, Ministry of Public Health and Population.
