On Feb. 4, President Jovenel Moïse and Prime Minister Jean Michel Lapin met with officials of the Professional Association of Banks at the national palace, reported Juno7. At the center of the discussions, the country’s financial and economic situation in this particularly difficult socio-political climate. Jean Baden Dubois, governor of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti, and general managers, Michel Patrick Boisvert and Miradin Morlan were among those who met with the president.
