As part of an ongoing effort to revive and reinforce agricultural production, President Jovenel Moïse plans to irrigate more than 15,000 hectares of land reports Radio Metropole. In this vein, Moïse has asked state organizations including the Ministry of Agriculture to carry out studies necessary for the installation of more than 150 solar pumps, which will be purchased thanks to donations from Taiwan and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
