Classified as a historic monument by the National Heritage Preservation Institute, Saint-Anne Church is finally renovated.  The Haitian construction firm, Lescot, rebuilt the famed church which has a 1,500 seating capacity. According to Le Nouvelliste, the architectural style of the new sanctuary matches that of the old structure, which was destroyed by the 2010 earthquake.
