On Jan.24, International Education Day was commemorated for the second time.  The theme this year was “Learning for people, planet, prosperity and peace.” According to UNESCO, this year’s celebration centered on positioning education and the learning it enables as humanity’s greatest renewable resource. 

Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, minister of education and professional training, in his speech spoke of the need to preserve education because there is no future for youth without education, stated Juno7.
