In a press release marking the 10th anniversary of the 2010 earthquake, the Embassy of the United States in Port-au-Prince stated,  “While reflecting on the past, the United States reiterates its commitment to a healthy, secure and prosperous Haiti. May the lessons learned that day inspire us so that we can make renewed efforts that can lead to a better future for the Haitian people.”

Give me one country that the US has helped in any way by standing with them. That ” stand” is totally worthless in my honest opinion. Cuba, a communist country under several decades of crippling embargo, is in way better shape than us. Those who believe the US is some kind of saviour who will help us get rid of our problems are deluding themselves. It is plain fact!!!
