
The National Federation of Haitian Magistrates announced on Dec. 27 they will not leave their posts at the end of their term, which expires January 2020. The network of mayors adopted the “Montana Agreement” on Friday that will allow them to stay in office until July 2020, Juno 7 reported. According to local reports, President Jovenel Moise is supportive of the move and is expected to sign the resolution.
