The Global Warning: Haiti capsule collection by Paper Planes sold out in a short few days, following their announcement last week of the limited-edition collection.
The capsule collection featured two snapback caps, a hoodie and t-shirt. The snapback caps — “Haiti Crown Old School” and “Haiti Crown 9Fifty” — feature the signature Paper Planes logo on the front, the Haitian coat of arms on the side, and “Haiti” embroidered on the back. The Global Warning Haiti hoodie and t-shirt showcase key features of Haitian society placed in the Paper Planes’ logo printed on the front of the hoodie.

Paper Planes was founded by Emory “Vegas” Jones, a long-time friend and business partner of Sean “Jay-Z” Carter. In 2018, Carter’s company, S. Carter Enterprises, filed paperwork to expand the Paper Planes logo and secure rights to the clothing brand. Part of the proceeds made from sales of the collection will go to FBLA Haiti, a nonprofit that prepares students to become community-minded business leaders.
Last month, Nike’s Uprising Collection inspired by the Haitian Revolution sold out in less than a week.
