Members of the opposition skipped out on an invitation from President Jovenel Moise to discuss the country’s political impasse at the National Palace on Friday, Le Nouvelliste reported. According to sources close to the matter, members of the opposition felt that the meeting was too “rushed” and without a concrete agenda.
Before they agree to meet with him, members of the opposition are calling for an agenda of the meeting that explicitly lists the president’s resignation as one of the orders of business.
