On Friday Dec. 13, Télé Haiti launched a new app to commemorate their 60th anniversary. “Television is changing and we are here to bring you new technology, new ways of viewing television,” said Allen Bayard, CEO of Télé Haiti, during the launching ceremony at Villa Thérèse Hotel.  Télé Haiti was the first cable operator in the Caribbean. Now they will become the first company to bring television to mobile devices in the region, with the Télé Haiti app.

Télé Haiti users will now be able to use their smartphones, laptops, and tablets to access Télé Haiti services all over the world.

Born into a Haitian family in Stone Mountain GA. , Rachele visited Haiti several times in her youth and connected to the country and the culture. She moved to Haiti in 2009, where she put her English degree to use as a writer, using her voice and pen to promote tourism in the country and highlight the richness of the Haitian culture and people.
