The special commission responsible for analyzing the files of Prime Minister Fritz William Michel and members of his cabinet is making great strides towards the finalization of his report but has not yet decided who can be part of the government or not according to the chairman of this special commission MP Hermano Exinor.
According to Exinor, the commissioners worked all day Sunday and have not yet managed to finalize the work. The final phase of the work is none other than the vote of the commissioners who will have to decide the fate of the members of the cabinet, he says.
According to Jean Marcel Lumérant, the other heads of ministers are still in the viewfinder of the commission as that of the Minister of Culture Pradel Henriquez, the Minister of Education Ronyde Belisaire Imbert and the Prime Minister himself. Continue reading

Grenadiers to compete with Curacao in upcoming Concacaf matches
Haiti will play against the Curaçao team in Willemstad and Port-au-Prince on September 7 and 10 in its first two games in the elite league of Nations Concacaf.

Another trade unionist shot dead in Leogane
A public transport unionist, Derry Mordecai was shot dead Monday in the town of Leogane by individuals riding motorcycles. Another public transport unionist, Romain Morancy, was gunned down in Martissant near the police station by unidentified gunmen on August 8.
The deaths come as the national policeman Goof Williamson was shot dead on August 22 in the town of Carrefour. Continue reading
