IDB to donate $55 million to Haiti

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has approved a $ 55 million grant for a project to strengthen public management and improve service delivery in Haiti. 

The project will contribute to expanding the coverage of services provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development (MARNDR) and the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Communications (MTPTC) as well as improving management and labor productivity of human resources in the public administration. Continue reading

Nou p ap dòmi supports the next anti-government mobilizations being held this weekend 

The Nou p ap dòmi organization, grouped together with those challenging petrocaribe have expressed their support of the demonstrations planned across the country on July 6 and 7th demanding the departure of President Jovenel Moïse.

U.S. ambassador expects “solid results” after Haiti Tech Summit 2019

U.S. ambassador to Haiti Michele Sison has not stopped raving about her satisfaction with this year’s Haiti Tech Summit in addition to mentioning that women’s entrepreneurship is a priority for the U.S. embassy.

Haitian athlete to compete at the World Athletics Championship in Qatar

Runner Vanessa Clervaux will be representing Haiti at the 17th edition of the World Athletics Championship in Qatar in September. Clervaux qualified following her 100m hurdle race at the international meeting of Montgeron in France on June 25. Continue reading
