You can find your fill of food options in Atlanta. But what really puts the heat in Hotlanta? Here are some Haitian spots on fire in this Southern city.
Jojo Fritay serves up traditional Haitian fare in Kennesaw. From red snapper, goat, griyo and soups like Jomou and Bouyon, this place has all your main staples. But don’t forget to order the pate Kóde, or fried patties, a Haitian favorite. Wash it all down with a Haitian cola.
C’est Si Bon Cafe in Smyrna is a little gem of a location. Meat patties, oxtail, black rice and soups are just a few of the offerings on the menu. Tucked away in a strip mall, don’t let the restaurant’s exterior fool you. You’ll find your Haitian food cravings satisfied at the tiny café.
Ole Restaurant Lounge is a go-to Haitian destination in the Atlanta area. Perhaps because it serves alcohol? But before you make plans, be aware that the restaurant is only open from Thursday-Sunday for dinner only.
The Spice House definitely delivers the spice with a menu with dishes such as Rasta Pasta, Kingston Jerk Chicken, Spice House Oxtail, Haiti Fried Pork, to name just a few entrees. Fried green tomatoes and an offering of salads round out the menu nicely.
