
The legend of English football Gordon Banks died at 81 years.
He is considered one of the greatest English keepers.
Winner of the 1966 World Cup with England, winner of the league cup with Stoke city in 1972.
He became famous around the world thanks to his magnificent parade that literally erased a goal from Pele at the 1970’s World Cup.
But his career was not that happy and he had to experience some nightmares like the loss of sight of his right eye as a result of a car accident that forced him to end his career at only 34 years old and few years later, after some bad experience as coach, he left football in sadness.
In 2015 he was diagnosed with kidney cancer and he died at 81 years, leaving behind him a great history.
