Bayern won over hertha Berlin on Wednesday, but it was not easy because the Bavarians had to wait for extra time to win the match which is unacceptable because Bayern was dominating throughout the game and defensive errors have put the team in a delicate situation.
Bayern shows bad form in defensive area since the beginning of this season and the decline of Matts Hummels and Jerome Boateng is obvious. Their poor performance may suggest selling one or both players at the end of this season.
But the lack of cohesion and coordination between the Bayern defenders also plays a big role.
Bayern is still looking for a new title of Bundesliga and the league of champions but to be done it should begin by consolidating it defense. Continue reading
