After Manchester City’s defeat by Newcastle United (2-1) Liverpool had the opportunity to widen the gap and take a seven-point advantage over his rival in the event of a win over Leicester city.

But the men of Claude Puel managed to hold in check Jürgen Klopp players at Anfield (1-1).

Between bad attitude on the field, lack of efficiency and concentration and bad decisions of the referee it was a frustrating evening for Liverpool as their coach Jürgen Klopp said.

Liverpool never really took control throughout the game and Salah was totally ineffective, the team was in a bad day and did not show the image and the rage of a champion but it has still increased its lead over Manchester City that has now gone from four to five points.
