Marcelo during these last years was one of the pioneers of real Madrid’s game. He has always been good at piercing the defenses of the opponents and address assists to his teammates. Despite his defensive deficiencies, the team has never been too much disturbed because what Marcelo do anyone can do it.
But things have changed this season, the team is rebuilding and now Marcelo is not as indispensable as before.
The Brazilian winger has shown a disconcerting decline since the beginning of this season, conceding even goals that have caused defeats of his team.
As a result of this lack of form he even lost his place in favor of Sergio Reguilon a promoted from Real Castilla.
To imagine Marcelo discarded would be inconceivable until this season he who is one of the best players of this team, and also the second captain but it is the decision of Santiago Solari the interim coach of real madrid, discard him until everything goes well.
