Mark Green, USAID Administrator Visited Haiti
Mark Green, the administrator of the US Agency for International Development, Mark Green, closed a four-day visit to Haiti last week. During his stay he visited USAID-funded programs in the areas of health, agriculture and entrepreneurship. Green met with Government officials, the private sector and donor partners, Radio Metropole reports.
Haitian Women Group Speaks out on the Radio Kiskeya Fire
Solidarite fanm Ayisyèn ( Haitian women Solidarity) believes that the fire that ravaged Radio Kiskeya TV on the night of Friday 21 to Saturday, December 22, 2018 exposed the fragility of Haiti. Firefighters took more than two hours to get to the scene while the distance between the two buildings is a few minutes walk. The country does not even have an effective fire department in case there is fire.
